I was wondering if you could summarize the ICC.. mainly the first three tabs...
I couldn't find any info on Child Labor, could you go over that agian......
I won't summarize the ICC debate; that was an entire chapter of in the "Cases" book, and something we talked about for a class (plus). If you have a specific question, I'm happy to answer that.
Child labor (specifically, an international treaty banning child labor practices and buying products produced by child labor) was discussed in class as an example of "Globalism." We discussed the pros/cons of the treaty and how it was developed from a "Western" moral position.
Could you tell me what we need to kno about the Tolerance part of Cultural pluralism.......
I think you just said it all right there: cultural pluralism only works if different cultures tolerate other (different) cultures. Thus, every culture gets to do it's own thing. The problem is, argue the critics, that some cultures fundamental beliefs specifically argue against tolerating other cultural practices...
