Test on "Peace and War"

Sorry I was away; it came up suddenly.

I had some email questions about the next test. The syllabus has it scheduled for Tuesday of next week (Tuesday, October 2), but we (obviously) won't finish the readings for the entire "Peace & War" section. So, we'll move the test. I'm not sure when it will be, but something like a week later (Tuesday, October 9) is a first guess. We'll figure it out next week.

Oh, and we will likely get together at the end of next week to talk about the extra-credit book ("The Looming Tower" by Lawrence Wright); you should plan to have it read by next week, if you want to participate.

Any questions; just email me.

Review for First Quiz

Here is a list of terms and concepts from the first two weeks of class. This quiz will be relatively simple. If you have any questions, post them as comments and I will answer them.

The list of terms refers back to concepts and theories we have talked about. The best way to study is to be able to define each term, but also be able to link each term with others up and down the list.
